Mereville Trust is a Fair-Trade Organization, located in the heart of India. This means that they use honest labour principals and treat all of their employees with dignity and respect, which we believe that it is very important. They employ mostly women in order to increase their standard of living, and that of their children, and they provide health benefits along with a standardized minimum wage. Nature’s Artifacts is very proud to be the sole distributors of Mereville trust products. Mereville means “City of Mother”. Their products are organic and many of their suppliers are indigenous women who are enjoying a more happy and healthy life because of their connection to Mereville Trust.

Green Packaging:
Nature’s Artifacts is working towards saving the environment by using used shipping materials, whenever possible. It is best environmental practice to reuse a box rather than to buy a new box made from recycled content, same for packing materials. The resources used or pollution caused by its creation can’t be taken back.
The best thing Nature’s Artifacts can do at this point is extend the packaging materials useful life.

CSA/UL Tested & Approved:
Nature’s Artifacts first priority is customer’s safety and therefore we take the extra measure of assuring a high quality product which is CSA/ UL Tested & Approved. A very small number of salt lamp manufacturers can claim such distinction. Each lamp we offer is packed in a printed box which includes a cord set, bulb and care instructions. Himalayan Salt Chef™ (HSC) was created based on the realization of the unlimited possibilities of this unique substance. Because of it’s one of a kind structure, beauty and elemental components we were able to design serving plates, cookware and culinary utensils that allow the novice cook and professional chef alike to change the facet of cooking. The idea behind our HSC products is to be able accomplish many tasks in the kitchen, from serving to cooking. We are always coming up with new innovations to enhance the experience of using HSC products. Currently we are designing a variety of sizes and shapes for our mortar and pestle collection as well as a diverse selection of kitchen accessories (eg. our new Salt Caddy for storing freshly ground salt and herbs while retarding oxidation). Because we own a factory where HSC products can be custom manufactured to our exact specifications we are able to test different designs for functionality.
